The University of Akron's Center for Literacy will be holding an iPad Symposium this Saturday, May 11, 2013. To get you started on the right foot, the Center's Lori Vargo has put together a wide array of iPad in Education related materials.
These materials will help you build background knowledge and think about classroom practice as they relate to digital literacy skills. By studying these resources prior to the Symposium, you will begin to think about how you can embed the iPad into instructional practices to meet the demanding changes in the millennial learner.
